Poached Pears with Stilton       Serves 4
to pint red wine
Stilton or other strong cheese crumbed
Tinned pears (1-2 pears per person)
Soak the pears in the wine for 20 mins. Then boil the wine and pears until the wine has reduced by half. Place the cheese on top of the pears and grill until melted.
You can also vary the recipe by adding Cinamon, Honey, Wholegrain Mustard, etc to the wine in the beginning.
